Health, Prevention & HIV

COGAM’s Prevention Group
To counter HIV/AIDS is a COGAM priority, offering help and services, starting prevention plans or demanding the end of discrimination of gay men, lesbians, bisexuals and transexuals living with HIV. You will find below, as well as in the paragraphs of NEXUS and Entender en Positivo what we can do for your health and how we can help you.
We are interested in promoting healthier habits and practices inside a global concept of sexual health including biological, psychological, emotional, social and cultural aspects, in the frame of a guilt free understanding of sexuality and the promotion of inclusive and positive LGBT+ identities.
You can get prevention and safer sex information in our printed or online publications. Organizations working on prevention can contact us in order to get printed materials or the digital file for better quality prints.
To fulfill our goals we have the following program
HIV Quick Test Program.
Detection of HIV antibodies in an oral fluid sample gathered and analyzed in our premises. Intended for LGBT+ persons. For hours, appointments and  other details click our banner. We also provide information about Public Centers where this test and detection and treatment for other STD’s are available.
